° Cyclomethicone is a silicone, antistatic, emollient, humectant, solvent, viscosifier. It has the advantage of being breathable, very light and not very greasy, unlike the mineral lipids used in many supermarket products and a number of cheap creams or emulsions. It also has a protective function by being water-resistant and forming an oily film. Because of its viscosity, it is also used in some recipes for modelling pastes.

°Dimethicone is a substance belonging to the silicone family and is widely used in numerous cosmetic formulations due to the many positive properties conferred on products containing it, above all its proven safety in use.

Both substances (Cyclomethicone and Dimethicone) are permitted without restriction by the strict European cosmetics legislation, which has the primary objective of protecting consumer safety.
